It is one of the most important things in post-operative period combined with anti &#8211; tumor therapy.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This intervention is of great importance in helping patients to achieve psychological stability.<br>Breast reconstruction is planned prior to the operation-at the very moment of establishing the diagnosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:var(--wp--preset--spacing--24)\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How is this operation carried out<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In some cases when owing to when radical removal of breast is necessary breast reconstruction is planned after the patient had received chemotherapy, x-ray therapy, hormonal therapy,etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In such cases breast reconstruction is carried in two separate acts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>TRAM (transversal Abdominal Musculoaponeurotic Flap)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DIEP (Deep Inferior Epigastric Perforator Flap)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Breast reconstruction is a procedure carried out after surgical removal of the breast due to carcinoma.
