We are proud to inform you that Prof. Dr. Dimitry Popkov is now a permanent member of the Atlas General Hospital team. Dr. Popkov, a pediatric orthopedics doctor, is known on a national and international level as a well-known orthopedic surgeon. He uses and applies innovative techniques in solving simple as well as complex problems with children and adult patients. He spent his career at the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Center in Kurgan. Around 11,000 surgeries are done annually in the center on patients of all ages.
The collaboration between Atlas hospital and Russian surgeon Popkov has resulted in making conditions for treating even the most complicated orthopedic issues. Expensive and complicated treatments abroad that rely on funding from other organizations or the patients and their parents are now becoming available in our country for significantly less.
Professor Popkov has been a permanent member of the Atlas hospital team since May, which means you can make appointments for examinations and surgeries all year round.
