Fractures of any elbow bones can affect normal function of the elbow.

So, fracture of one of the bones unables movements of forearm and hand.

The elbow fracture is usually due to a fall or a direct blow to the elbow.

In case of this fracture, surrounding tissues can be damaged as well, thus also damaging surrounding muscles, nerves, blood vessels and tendons.

Fractures are treated either by operation or immobilization.

Physical therapy joint injections are most often used for treating “tennis elbow”, while surgery is quite rare.
